Gaby Cotter is a Panamanian artist with a strong stage presence and a diaphanous and melodious voice.
She grew up listening to a diverse variety of musical genres, including bolero, salsa, tango, soul, blues, rock 'n' roll, opera, and classical music. Cotter first got started in music by singing boleros with her mother, who also taught her how to play guitar.
