Korean singer and actor Jin-Yeong So performs a set combining Korean folk, jazz, and musical theater styles. This recital will include arrangements of Korean songs such as "Arirang," as well as "Pansori," which is a Korean traditional opera. The performance also will feature artist Daniela Gómez, who will perform electro-acoustic arrangements of "canto cardenche," a traditional style of Mexican folk music, using a loop station.
