The Red Room at Cafe 939 proudly presents Fresh Prospects, a free concert series spotlighting emerging artists. Curated by Berklee students with an ear for talent, this series offers an intimate glimpse into the music scene’s future, featuring local performers making waves and capturing attention. This Fresh Prospects show will include co-headliners Amiri Moreno and duo Sydney Sanaa & Darien.

Amiri Moreno is a Dominican American songwriter and drummer from NYC, currently in his third semester at Berklee College of Music. Growing up in the Bronx, he was surrounded by hip-hop culture and learned to freestyle at an early age, sharpening his creativity and quick-thinking skills. That same energy now fuels his songwriting and allows him to move seamlessly across genres.

With his rhythmic precision and lyrical talent, Moreno brings a sound that’s fresh, raw, and constantly evolving. In 2025, he set out to post a brand-new verse every single day on Instagram—a commitment that has propelled his lyricism to new heights while helping him build a powerful social media presence.

Sydney Sanaa is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, performer, producer, arranger, creative director, and activist who blends R&B, alternative, pop, rock, hip-hop, gospel, jazz, singer-songwriter, and country/folk influences with rich storytelling and individuality. Beyond writing for herself and other artists, she brings music to life through dynamic performances, thoughtful arrangements, and visionary show direction. Passionate about creation across all art forms—fashion, theater, art, science, dance, and more—Sanaa uses her artistry to craft experiences that resonate, inspire, and push boundaries.

Raised on the Afro-Caribbean rhythms of his Jamaican heritage and the jazz and blues of Kansas City, Darien. is an American rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose work seamlessly fuses these influences into a sonic signature that redefines alternative hip-hop.
